PRIVATE TRAINING IS DEAD.

Post when you're training. Post where. Post who can join. The best players in the Bay already train on their own — now they let other serious players run with them. No coaches. No drills you've already done a thousand times. Just real reps with real players.

The Idea

Hiring a trainer is not the move.
Training with better players is.

What's broken

Private trainers cost $80–150/hr to run you through cones. Most aren't keeping up with you. The drills don't translate. You're paying someone to watch you do something you could do alone.

The kids who actually get better between seasons are the ones who go to the park with their teammates and play. That's the real training.

What this is

Players post sessions. Where they're training, when, what they're working on, and who can join. Other players at the same level pay a small fee to come run with them.

You're not being trained. You're training together. The host sets the level. You show up and play.

How
It Works

Three steps. No middlemen. The host runs the session, sets the standard, and earns when other players show up.

01

Post Your Session

Where you're training, when, how long, what you're working on. Set the level — birth years, club tier, position if it matters. Set the fee.

02

Players Apply

Eligible players see your post. They apply with their club, league, and birth year. You approve who joins. Vetted by level — no walk-ons who don't belong.

03

Show Up & Play

Approved players pay through the platform. You meet at the field. You run your session. They train with you. You both leave better.

What A
Post Looks Like

A real session post. Host sets the field, the focus, the level requirement, and the fee. Players apply, host approves, payment runs through the platform.

Real Questions.

Wait, are these kids coaching other kids?
No. The host is not a coach and not a trainer. They're a player who is going to train and is opening up their session to other serious players who want to train with them. There's no instruction. There's no coaching license. It's a paid pickup with a quality bar.
Why pay to play with someone who isn't coaching me?
Because training with players who are better than you, or at your exact level, is the actual thing that makes you better. The fee covers the field, the host's time setting it up, and gives them an incentive to keep posting. You're paying for access to a real training environment with vetted players — not a coach.
How is the level enforced?
Every player who applies to a session must list their current club, league, and team. The host approves applications. If the host requires ECNL or MLS Next, they can reject anyone who doesn't meet the bar. Misrepresenting your club gets you removed from the platform.
What about adult supervision?
All players under 18 must have a parent or guardian acknowledge the session at registration. Parents are welcome at every session. The host's parent is encouraged to be present. This is a player-run pickup — not a supervised camp — and the platform makes that clear at every step.
What about insurance and liability?
Each registered player and their parent sign a waiver before they can apply to a session. Hosts are not running a business — they're sharing a session they were already planning. The platform carries supplemental coverage and requires acknowledgment of risk. Public parks are used at the user's own risk.
How do payments work?
Hosts set an hourly rate between $10 and $50. The platform takes a 10% fee — the host keeps 90% of every dollar paid. Payment is held when a player applies. After the session is confirmed complete, the host is paid out automatically. If a session is cancelled by the host or doesn't happen, players are fully refunded.
Can a parent post a session for their kid?
Yes. Most posts will come from parents on behalf of their player. The form captures the player's info — the parent manages the post, approvals, and payments. Players under 18 can't transact directly.
How is this different from Not a Soccer Camp?
Not a Soccer Camp is a structured summer program — fixed dates, set roster, full season. Not a Soccer Trainer is the rest of the year. Any player can post any session, any day. Same philosophy: real players, real reps, no babysitting with cones.
